The men's 3000 meter obstacle course at the 1950 European Athletics Championships was held on August 27, 1950 in the Heysel Stadium in the Belgian capital, Brussels .

European champion was the Czechoslovak Jindřich Roudný . The second place went to the Yugoslav Petar Šegedin . Bronze went to Erik Blomster from Finland .
