The 800-meter run for women at the European Athletics Championships in 1994 was held from August 7 to 10, 1994 in the Olympic Stadium in the Finnish capital Helsinki .

With gold and bronze, the Russian runners won two medals in this competition. European champion was Ljubow Gurina . She won in front of the Belarusian Natallja Duchnowa . Bronze went to Lyudmila Rogacheva .

Semifinals

In the two semi-finals, it was planned that the first four athletes - highlighted in light blue - would qualify for the final. In the first heat, two runners took fourth place at the same time, both of whom were admitted to the finals, so that nine middle distance runners contested the final two days later.
