history

Lindstedterhorst was first mentioned in 1419. In a complaint filed by Margrave Friedrich von Brandenburg against Archbishop Günther because of the damage to the country that has taken place since 1412, it is reported: In the XIXth century, the ... eynen poor are called by the village Horst . From the context it follows that this is Lindstedterhorst. It also says: Item names sy dem schulten vsz dem dorfe horst IIII horses .

In 1498 the village was named lintstedehorst in a feudal letter for the von Lindstedte family. Further mentions are the village of Lintstedehorst in 1513 , Lindstedterhorst in 1551 , Lindstettische Horst in 1608 , Lindstedterhorst in 1687 and Lindstädter Horst in 1804 .

Parisius and Brinkmann suspect that the village was founded from Lindstedt on a solid piece of land (Horst) in the moor and believe that “in fact, this is true of a great many if not most of the villages in the district, but the name only suggests a few of the younger ones with the ending -horst explicitly pointed out. "

During the land reform in 1945, the following were recorded: 32 properties under 100 hectares with a total of 371 hectares and a church property with 3 hectares. Nothing has been reported about expropriations.

In 1974 the inter-cooperative organization ZGE “25. Anniversary “with a dairy cattle facility. In 1980 the CGU was deleted. 1986 an LPG (T) Lindstedt, based in Lindstedterhorst, with cattle facility, pig facility Seethen and administration Lindstedterhorst is listed.
