Dortmund / Germany : After more than two months of interruption, the Bundesliga wants to continue its game operations with six matches on the 26th match day of the 2019/20 season, excluding spectators. This would end the longest unscheduled break in the league's history. The Bundesliga will presumably be the first sports league in the world to resume games after being interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A few leagues, such as the Belarusian and Nicaragua leagues, had not interrupted the game.
- Asnières-sur-Seine / France : More than a quarter of a century after the genocide in Rwanda , businessman Félicien Kabuga was arrested, one of the alleged main culprits .
