The list of the team squads of the Nationale I 2002/03 includes all players who have played at least one game in the French Nationale I 2002/03 with their individual results.
The number of registered players was not limited. While the Club de Montpellier Echecs and the Club de Bischwiller managed with 11 players each, the Club de Vandœuvre-Echecs used 23 players. A total of 225 players were used, 65 of whom played all 11 rounds. The best player in points was Laurent Fressinet (Paris NAO) with 9.5 points from 11 games, Manuel Apicella (Club de Clichy-Echecs-92) achieved half a point less . Michael Adams and Almira Scripcenco (both Paris NAO) got 8.5 points each from 11 games . With Pjotr Swidler , Francisco Vallejo Pons , Jorge Lopez (all Paris NAO), Jean-Claude Moingt (Club de Clichy-Echecs-92), Jean-Luc Costa (Club de Mulhouse Philidor) and Daniel Buchy (Club de Cavalier Bleu Drancy) Six players achieved 100%, with Swidler playing four games, Vallejo Pons three, Lopez and Moingt two each and Costa and Buchy one each. The oldest player of the season was Claude Conan, born in 1930 (Club de Cavalier Bleu Drancy), the youngest player, Sébastien Feller, born in 1991 (Club de Vandœuvre-Echecs).
