The nature reserve Manscheider Bachtal and Paulushof (LP Hellenthal) is located in the municipality of Hellenthal in the Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area, which consists of nine sub-areas, extends southeast of the core town of Hellenthal and south of Benenberg , a district of the municipality of Kall . The B 258 runs to the northeast, the L 204 state road to the east , the L 17 to the west and the L 23 to the northwest . The Manscheider Bach flows through the area . Some side streams of the Manscheider Bach in the area of ​​the municipality of Kall are protected in a separate nature reserve of the same name .

For Hellenthal, a 305.80 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve under the identification number EU-142 since 2005 . The protection is given because of the importance of a large part of the area for the establishment of a coherent ecological network of special protected areas in Europe.
