The nature reserve Nonnenbach and Eichholzbach with side valleys is located in the area of the municipality of Dahlem ( North Eifel) in the Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northeast of the core town of Dahlem along the Nonnenbach and Eichholzbach. The B 51 touches the north-western edge of the area.
meaning
Since 2001, an area of 227.64 hectares has been designated as a nature reserve for Dahlem under the identification number EU-092. The protection is placed for the preservation and development of the habitat for several animal and plant species endangered according to the Red List in North Rhine-Westphalia .
