The nature reserve floodplains and slopes on Urft and Gillesbach is located in the municipality of Kall in the district of Euskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area, which consists of eleven sub-areas, extends southeast of the core town of Kall and southeast of the Sötenich district of Kall along the Urft and the Gillesbach . It is located to the west, north and east of the Urft district of Kall . The state roads L 204 and L 22 cross the area, the L 206 runs north.

meaning

Since 1955, a 372.52 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Kall under the identification number EU-003. The protection is given in particular because of the importance of a large part of the area for the establishment of a coherent ecological network of special protection areas in Europe.
