The nature reserve Lampertstal and Alendorfer Kalktriften with Fuhrbach and Mackental is located in the area of the municipality of Blankenheim (Ahr) in the district of Euskirchen in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area, which consists of 18 partial areas, extends south of the core town of Blankenheim and south and east of the Blankenheim district of Ripsdorf . Not far to the northeast, the Ahr flows and the B 258 runs . The state road L 115 runs to the east .
meaning
Since 1953 an area of 1101.43 hectares has been designated as a nature reserve for Blankenheim under the identification number EU-002. The protection is given because of the importance of a large part of the area for the establishment of a coherent ecological network of special protected areas in Europe.
