The Neffelbachaue nature reserve is located in the area of the city of Zülpich in the Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The area, which consists of eight sub-areas, extends west and north of the core town of Zülpich.

meaning

For Zülpich, a 112.1 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve under the identification number EU-023 since 1984 . The protection is given in particular because of its function as a habitat for endangered, threatened and rare animal and plant species according to the Red List in North Rhine-Westphalia.
