Montà is a municipality with 4682 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the Italian province of Cuneo (CN), Piedmont region . Neighboring municipalities are Canale , Cellarengo ( AT ), Cisterna d'Asti (AT), Ferrere (AT), Pralormo ( TO ), Santo Stefano Roero and Valfenera (AT). The municipality covers an area of ​​26 km².

Montà is considered the gateway to Roero , which is known as the wine-growing region of the wine of the same name . The Arneis and Nebbiolo grape varieties are grown. Montà is also known for the white alba truffle, which is found there with the help of truffle dogs .
