NOOBees (own spelling: N00Bees ; composed of the English words “Noob” for newcomer and “Bees” for bees) is a Colombian telenovela produced by the Televideo Mediapro production company on behalf of Viacom International Studios . It premiered on September 17, 2018 on Nickelodeon in Latin America. The German-language first broadcast has been on Nickelodeon since April 8, 2019 .
The first broadcast of the second season in German-speaking countries will be on Nickelodeon from October 2020.

Silvia is a nature-loving and passionate basketball player who trains with her father Héctor. Her best friends are Laura and Matt, who is secretly in love with Silvia but is afraid to tell her. In contrast to her brother Erick, Silvia has no interest in video games, but he notes that Silvia has real gaming talent.
The "Rockers" esports team originally consisted of Ruth, Lily, Kong, David and Tania. But Ruth managed to throw Tania off the team. Then Pablo convinced his sister Tania to start her own team. Together, the two managed to win Niko and Erick for their team. After a moment's hesitation, thanks to Erick, Silvia also joins the team. Silvia is also the one who suggests the team name "N00Bees", which is accepted by everyone. They also appoint Laura as their mascot.
Silvia first meets David when she accidentally throws him with a basketball. When Silvia apologizes to David, mutual interest develops. In Silvia's first game, she has to play against David. When technical difficulties arise, Erick temporarily switches off the power of the transmission location in order to delay the start of the game. When Silvia tries to start the game, her computer mouse has disappeared so she cannot play and David wins automatically. David, who is new to the school, then becomes a mockery on social networks because everyone thinks that Silvia let him win on purpose.
The coach of the "N00Bees" is Héctor, who doesn't like Roberto, the coach of the "Rockers" and Roberta's father, the new player in the team. Silvia discovers that through the headphones of Matt's father Mateo, who mysteriously disappeared thirteen years ago, she receives the abilities of her avatar Kosnika in real life, but also feels their side effects. The powers that Silvia develops over time are the ability to create clones of herself, to make things disappear, hypnosis, invisibility, to put people in a kind of pause mode and a hyper-speed. All these powers often get Silvia into trouble.
By accident, David is so hypnotized by Silvia that he falls in love with Ruth and she asks to be his girlfriend, which she accepts. When Silvia can undo the hypnosis, he does not remember anything from that time and breaks up with Ruth again and starts a relationship with Silvia. Ruth is disappointed and swears to separate the two of them. Matt and Norah host the games on a broadcast. Norah has feelings for Matt, but he is still in love with Silvia, which is why she teams up with Ruth to make life difficult for Silvia. On the side, Silvia and Matt try to find out more about the disappearance of his father Mateo.
In a subplot, you see Mateo in a virtual reality from which he tries to escape since the beginning of the series. He is always given tasks by the AI "Game Over" to get to a new level. The virtual bee "Pixie" helps him with this.
After Silvia learns that her new abilities are related to the fact that she turns more and more into an avatar, she confesses to her parents what happened to her. Together with them, she finds out that Mateo had worked on a process at the time to be able to beam himself completely into a video game. Mateo, like Silvia, had developed powers. When the headset is put on again, she is beamed to Mateo in game and can contact him. They learn that they have to locate the game developer Zigorisco, who once programmed the game Mateo is now in. Matt, from whom this is being kept a secret for the time being, however, one day uses the headset himself and also develops the powers of his avatar.

Matt Montero is Silvia's boyfriend, but he doesn't reciprocate her feelings. He often calls himself 'Mister M' because like his father he's a good video gamer. He used to work with Norah as the video game caster.
Tania Botero is the captain of the NOOBees and Pablo's twin sister. Your avatar is Zadra. She used to be a member of the Rockers, but she had to leave the team to make room for Roberta. Through Pablo's advice, Tania started a new team called NOOBees.
Pablo Botero is a NOOBees gamer and Tania's twin brother. Your avatar is Adoam. He convinced Tania to start a team. He developed a fascination for cosplay and was considering leaving the team. He is Laura's best friend.
Niko is a NOOBees gamer. Your avatar is Anoiram. He is the smartest of the NOOBees and can communicate well with the pixie bee.
Erick Rojas is a NOOBees gamer and SIlvia's little brother. Your avatar is Kevelek. He dreams of being the best video gamer ever, just like his father. He is good friends with Roberta. He often calls Silvia the frog face.
Laura Calles is Silvia's best friend. She is a mascot from the NOOBees. When her best friend Pablo leaves the NOOBees team, she is Pablo's successor.
Roberta Barrios is a new gamer to the Rockers and David's cousin. Your avatar is Zilua. His father Roberto asked her to join their team and replaced Tania. She is Erick's best friend and is also a passionate skateboarder.
Lilli is Ruth's best friend and gamer with the Rockers. Your avatar is Duna. She is a passionate ukulele player.
