Passport was a Canadian automobile brand owned by General Motors of Canada of Oshawa . The logo reads Passport International Automobiles .

General Motors introduced the brand to the Canadian market in 1988. Other sources name 1987 or 1989. Gary Moe and his wife Susan are named as the founder or operator. In 1991 the brand was discontinued.
The only model of the brand sold by the Pontiac / Buick / Cadillac dealers was the Passport Optima , a version of the Daewoo Racer , which was a variant of the Opel Kadett E built by Daewoo Motors in South Korea .
Asüna became Passport's successor brand in autumn 1992 .
