Putte is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 17,800 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It consists of the main town and the district Beerzel .

Mechelen is ten kilometers to the west, Antwerp 24 kilometers to the northwest and Brussels about 30 kilometers to the southwest.

The next motorway exits are in the west near Mechelen on the A1 / E 19 , in the north near Herentals on the A13 / E 313 and in the south near Aarschot and Leuven on the A2 .
