Arendonk is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 13,293 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It is located in the northeast of Belgium and borders directly on the Netherlands .
Turnhout is 10 kilometers to the west, the Dutch city of Eindhoven 30 km to the northeast and Brussels about 75 km to the southwest.
The next motorway exits are Turnhout-Oost and Retie on the Belgian A21 / E 34 . The nearest regional train stations are in
Turnhout, Mol and Geel .
The Antwerp International Airport and the airport of Eindhoven are the next regional airports and the airport Brussels National near the capital Brussels is an airport of international importance. A major employer is the plastics manufacturer Ravago , which has its operational headquarters in Arendonk.
Attractions
The town hall was built in 1903 in neo-Gothic style. A year later, the Church of Our Lady was completed.
