Rumst is a municipality with 15,090 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Flanders region in Belgium . It is located in the province of Antwerp 7 km northwest of Mechelen on the banks of the Rupel and consists of the districts Reet , Rumst and Terhagen .
