Grobbendonk is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 11,155 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It consists of the main town and the district Bouwel .

Turnhout is 20 kilometers northeast, Antwerp 22 kilometers west and Brussels around 45 kilometers southwest.

The next motorway exits are at Herentals-West on the A13 / E 313 and at Zoersel and Lille on the A21 / E 34 . The municipality has a regional train station in the district of Bouwen on the Antwerp- Lier- Bouwen- Herentals - Mol - Hasselt / Weert ( Netherlands ) railway line . The Antwerp International Airport is the nearest regional airport and the airport Brussels National near the capital Brussels is an airport of international importance.
