Zandhoven is a Belgian municipality in the Flanders region with 13,025 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It is located on the Albert Canal and consists of the main town and the districts of Massenhoven , Pulderbos , Pulle and Viersel .

Antwerp's city ​​center is 18 km to the west and Brussels 45 km to the south-west. The next motorway exits are at the Massenhoven district on the A13 / E 313 and at Ranst and Zoersel on the A21 / E 34 . In Lier , Nijlen and Herentals are the next regional stations and in Antwerp also hold about regional express trains. The Antwerp International Airport is the nearest regional airport and Brussels National close to the capital is an airport of international importance.
