The 2013/14 season was the 83rd season of the Romanian Ice Hockey League , the highest Romanian ice hockey league . The championship was the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov , who defeated the defending champion HSC Csíkszereda 4: 3 in the playoff final .

The two Romanian representatives in the MOL league , the ASC Corona 2010 Brașov and the HSC Csíkszereda , did not take part in the main round of the league, but were set for the playoff semi-finals. Therefore, the field of participants in the main round consisted of the following clubs:

In the main round, each of the four teams played a total of 24 games. The top two teams qualified for the playoff semifinals, where they met the two MOL league participants. The playoff semifinals were played in the best-of-five mode, the final in the best-of-seven mode. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a draw and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
