Schdanki ( Russian Жданки , German  Tilszenehlen , 1936 to 1938 Tilschenehlen , 1938 to 1946 source grounds , also: Pellehnen , 1938 to 1946 Dreidorf ( Eastern Pr.) , Lithuanian Tilženėliai , also: Pelėnai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Neman in Nemansky District .

Geographical location

Shdanki is nine kilometers from the district town of Neman (Ragnit) on the regional road 27K-033 (ex A198 ). The next train station was the northern Krasnoye Selo (Klapaten / Angerwiese) on the Tilsit – Stallupönen (Russian: Sowetsk – Nesterow) railway line, which is no longer used for passenger traffic .

The small village, named Tilsenehlen after 1736, consisted of scattered small farms and farmsteads before 1945. In 1874, the village in the newly built was District Pucknen (Russian: no longer Luganskoje existent) incorporated, which until 1922 the county Ragnit , then to 1945 for the district Tilsit-Ragnit in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged.

In 1910 Tilszenehlen had 145 inhabitants, in 1933 there were 128 and in 1939 only 98.

Pellehnen (Dreidorf)

The village of Pellehnen , which originally belonged to the district of Ragnit , was formed from a few large farms before 1945. Between 1874 and 1945 the village was part of the administrative district Titschken that from 1922 to the district Tilsit-Ragnit in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged.

In 1910 91 people lived in Pellehnen. Their number rose to 159 by 1933 and was 132 in 1939. Seven years after the village was renamed "Dreidorf (Ostpr.)" In 1938, it became part of the Soviet Union .

Shdanki

The place Tilszenehlen was renamed in 1947 in "Shdanki" and at the same time classified in the village soviet Malomoshaiski selski Sowet in Sovetsk Raion . Later the place got into the Rakitinski selski Sowet . From 2008 to 2016 Shdanki belonged to the urban municipality of Nemanskoje gorodskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Neman.
