Goworowo ( Russian Говорово , German  Blausden , 1938 to 1945 Blauden , Lithuanian Blauzdai ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad . It belongs to the local government unit Stadtkreis Neman in Nemansky District .

Geographical location

Goworowo is located seven kilometers south of the city of Sowetsk (Tilsit) on the federal road A216 (also European route 77 ). The settlement stretches in a westerly direction up to the municipal boundary, which is also the boundary of the forest area called les Tylschenski (formerly Schilleningker Wald ). Immediately south of Goworowo, the bypass of Sovetsk branches off for onward travel to Lithuania (regional road 27A-004). The next train station is Barsukowka - until 1945 it was called Pamletten - on the currently inoperative railway line Chernyakhovsk – Sovetsk (Insterburg – Tilsit) .

history

The small Gutsdorf formerly known as Blausden was incorporated into the newly established administrative district Sandfluss on March 26, 1874 (the place was called from 1931: Lindental, today in Russian: Prigorodnoje). He belonged to the circle lowlands in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910, 87 inhabitants were registered in the Blausden manor .

When the district boundaries were changed, Blausden was reclassified from the Niederung district to the newly formed Tilsit-Ragnit district on July 1, 1922 and integrated into the Schilleningken district on October 21 of the same year (from 1939: "Hegehof district"). On September 30, 1928, Blausden finally lost its independence when the village merged with the neighboring towns (noble) Schilleningken (from 1938: Hegehof, Russian: Salessje) and Pauperischken (both towns no longer exist) to form the new rural community of Schilleningken. On June 3, 1938, Blausden was renamed "Blauden".

After the Second World War, Blausden was renamed Goworowo in 1950 and at the same time included in the village soviet Novokolchosnenski selski Sowet in Sovetsk Raion . From 2008 to 2016 Dubrawino belonged to the rural municipality of Shilinskoje selskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district of Neman.

church

Due to its predominantly Protestant population, Blausden (Blauden) was part of the parish of the Neu Argeningken church until 1945 (the place was called from 1938: Argenbrück, today in Russian: Nowokolchosnoje). It was part of the diocese of Tilsit in the church district Tilsit-Ragnit in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . Today Goworowo is in the catchment area of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Slavsk (Heinrichswalde) , which was newly established in the 1990s and belongs to the Kaliningrad (Königsberg) provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia .
