history

Gutsdorf, once known as Kurschen , was incorporated into the Woydehnen district in 1874 (1938 to 1946: Wodehnen, today in Russian: Wetrowo). This was - at name change in 1939 in "District Wodehnen" - to 1945 and was until 1922 the county Ragnit , then to the district of Tilsit-Ragnit in Administrative district Gumbinnen the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 there were 99 inhabitants in the Kurschen manor.

Kurschen gave up his independence on September 30, 1928 and was incorporated into the rural community of Jonienen (1938 to 1946: Tilsenau, Russian: Otwaschnoje, now: Gudkowo). It was part of the administrative district Kindschen (from 1931 "administrative district Groß Kindschen", the place no longer exists today), which, like the administrative district Jonienen, belonged to the district of Ragnit or district of Tilsit-Ragnit until 1945.

As a result of the war, Kurschen came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia and was given the Russian name Rakitino in 1950 . At the same time, the village was included in the Petrowski selski Sowet . In 1968, Rakitino himself took over both the administrative headquarters and the namesake of this village soviet. From 2008 to 2016 the place belonged to the urban municipality Nemanskoje gorodskoje posselenije and since then to the urban district Neman.

Rakitinski selski Sowet / okrug (1947–) 2008

The village soviet was initially set up in June 1947 as the village soviet Petrowski selski Sowet (ru. Петровский сельский Совет). Its administrative seat was probably initially the place Petrowo (Petratschen / Petersfelde) . Since before 1968 the administrative headquarters were in Dubki (Paskallwen / Schalau) . In 1968 the administrative center was moved to Rakitino and the name of the village soviet was changed accordingly to Rakitinski selski Sowet (ru. Ракитинский сельский Совет). After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the administrative unit existed as the village district of Rakitinski selski okrug (ru. Ракитинский сельский округ). Around 1997 some places in the village district were spun off into the newly formed Michurinski selski okrug . In 2008 the remaining places of the village district were incorporated into the newly formed urban municipality Nemanskoje gorodskoje posselenije .
