He was then selected in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft in the seventh round as a total of 200th player by the Montréal Canadiens . However, the attacker initially spent two seasons with the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League before making his debut for the Canadiens in the National Hockey League in the 2007/08 season . In June 2010 Kaszizyn was transferred to the Nashville Predators in a swap , where he was one of the most successful scorers in the following two seasons.
The 2012/13 NHL season, which was shortened due to the lockout , began at HK Awangard Omsk in the Continental Hockey League before returning to Nashville after the lockout ended in January 2013. In July 2013, the Belarusian signed a three-year contract with HK Avangard Omsk and thus left the Predators for good. With Awangard he missed the play-offs in the 2013/14 season and therefore took part in the competition for the Nadezhda Cup , which his club ultimately won. In June 2014, Awangard Omsk swapped him for Konstantin Barulin from Ak Bars Kazan because they wanted to sign a strong Russian goalkeeper. For Kazan he came in 61 KHL games on 30 scorer points before he moved to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod the following season . He was also under contract with Torpedo for a year and scored 24 scorer points in 62 KHL games. After the end of the 2015/16 season he left Torpedo and was signed by HK Dinamo Minsk in June 2016 . There he was under contract for a year before returning to Torpedo in 2017.
In May 2018 he received another contract with Dinamo Minsk, this time for a period of two years.
