Sestino is an Italian municipality with 1256 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Arezzo in the Tuscany region .
geography
The community extends over around 80 km². It is located about 75 km northeast of Arezzo and 110 km east of Florence , making it the easternmost municipality in the province of Arezzo and Tuscany. The municipality is in the climatic classification of Italian municipalities in zone E, 2533 GR / G and on the rivers Foglia (9 of 11 km in the local area), Marecchia (1 of 24 km in the local area) and Bornacchio (7 of 9 km in the local area) ).

history
The ancient history of the place was shaped by the Etruscans , the Picenians , the Umbrians , the Senones and the Romans . In the 1st century BC Chr.
