Several racing weekends were planned for 2011. There were several changes to the racing calendar before and during the season. Among other things, the event planned for September on the Smolensk Ring was canceled in June because the racetrack was not ready in time. Finally, the season was canceled after just two events.

There were two races on each race weekend. The starting grid for the first race was determined by qualifying. The starting line-up for the second race resulted from the reversed result of the first race. Then the so-called "Super Final" was held. The six drivers who had scored the most points in the first two races qualified for this race. The winner of this race, the so-called “Weekend Winner”, received a bonus of € 100,000.
