Tavaco ( Corsican Tàvacu ) is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corse-du-Sud department , the Ajaccio arrondissement and the Gravona-Prunelli canton . It borders on Sari-d'Orcino in the northwest , Vero in the northeast, Carbuccia in the southeast, Peri in the south and Sarrola-Carcopino in the west . The village center is around 450 meters above sea level.
