Orto

Orto ( Corsican Ortu ) is a municipality on the Mediterranean island of Corsica in France . The residents call themselves Orticais .

geography

Orto belongs to the Corse-du-Sud department , the Ajaccio arrondissement and the Deux-Sorru canton and is surrounded by Soccia , Corte , Guagno and Poggiolo . The settlement area is on a steep slope at an average of 650 meters above sea level. A local elevation is the Mont Saint-Elisée.

Orto is affected by the GR 20 .
