Forciolo ( Corsican U Furciolu ) is a municipality in the French department of Corse-du-Sud on the Mediterranean island of Corsica . The residents call themselves Forciolais .
geography
The settlement area is about 300 meters above sea level and consists of the quarters U Poghjiu Supranu, U Maternatu, A Piazzola, U Marianu, U Fundu Suttanu and Culiciolu. Forciolo belongs to the canton of Santa-Maria-Siché in the Arrondissement of Ajaccio . The neighboring municipalities are Azilone-Ampaza in the north, Zévaco in the northeast, Olivese in the east, Argiusta-Moriccio in the south, Zigliara and Cardo-Torgia in the west and Santa-Maria-Siché in the northwest.
