Carbuccia is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corse-du-Sud department , the Ajaccio arrondissement and the Gravona-Prunelli canton .

Geography and infrastructure

Carbuccia borders Vero to the north, Ucciani to the east, Peri to the south and Tavaco to the west .

The settlement area is about 510 meters above sea level. There is the administrative headquarters of the communal association Communauté de communes de la Haute Vallée de la Gravona .

The railway company Chemins de Fer de la Corse serves the village with a stop at the line Ajaccio - Ponte-Leccia .

Viticulture
