Pila-Canale ( Corsican Pila è Canali ) is a municipality in the French department of Corse-du-Sud on the Mediterranean island of Corsica .

geography

Pila-Canale is about 400 meters above sea level in the Taravo Valley . The municipality belongs to the canton of Santa-Maria-Siché in the arrondissement of Ajaccio . Neighboring communities are Guargualé in the north, Urbalacone in the northeast, Petreto-Bicchisano in the east, Casalabriva and Sollacaro in the south and Cognocoli-Monticchi in the west. The Taravo forms the border with Casalabriva . The route national 851 led over Pila-Canale.
