Vero ( Corsican Veru ) is a municipality on the French Mediterranean island of Corsica . It belongs to the Corse-du-Sud department , the Ajaccio arrondissement and the Gravona-Prunelli canton . It borders on Salice and Azzana in the northwest , Ucciani in the northeast, Carbuccia in the southeast , Tavaco in the southwest and Sari-d'Orcino and Lopigna in the west . The village center is around 450 meters above sea level.
