Vahanga is an atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia . Like all atolls of the Actéon group, the atoll belongs administratively to the municipality of Gambier .
The atoll is about 5 km west of Tenarunga , the lagoon Vahangas has no access to the sea. The atoll is 12.58 km² including the lagoon and reef. The land area is 3.82 km². There is an airfield.
Vahanga is completely overgrown with coconut palms and there is also a rich bird life.
