Women's Bundesliga 2012/13

The 2012/13 season is the ninth season of the women's second division . The season began on September 2, 2012 and is expected to end with the last matchday on May 26, 2013. The relegation games between the third-last are to take place on June 2nd and 9th, 2013.

The BV Cloppenburg and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim secured the season championships and the associated rise in the Bundesliga . The relegation places were occupied by Holstein Kiel , FFC Oldesloe 2000 , the second team of SC 07 Bad Neuenahr and SV Bardenbach . The 1. FFC Recklinghausen was relegated .

FSV Gütersloh and SC 07 Bad Neuenahr were relegated from the Bundesliga in 2009 . The climbers from the regional leagues were LFC Berlin , VfL Bochum , SV 67 Weinberg , TuS Wörrstadt and the second team of VfL Wolfsburg . The women's football department of 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig switched to FFV Leipzig on July 1, 2013 .

The top scorer was Anna Laue from Herford SV with 22 goals in the north and Julia Manger from ETSV Würzburg with 24 goals in the south. In the title-winning match between TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and 1. FC Köln , a new record for the 2nd Bundesliga was set with 3,050 spectators.
