The Autovía A-49 or Autovía del Quinto Centenario is a motorway in Spain and part of the European Route 1 . The Autovía del Quinto Centenario, A-49, formerly known as the Autopista, begins in Seville and ends on the border with Portugal in Ayamonte .

This highway was built in two phases. The first phase, from km 0 to km 85, at the entrance to Huelva , was completed in 1991 on the occasion of the celebration of the 1992 World's Fair, hence the name of the motorway. At the end of 2002 the section leading to the border with Portugal was opened in Ayamonte.
