The Langenfeld (Rheinl) -Berghausen stop is one of two train stations with passenger traffic in the city of Langenfeld in North Rhine-Westphalia and a station of the Rhein-Ruhr S-Bahn . The stop also opens up the Baumberg district of Monheim , which is east of the stop.

Location and structure

The Langenfeld-Berghausen stop is about 16 kilometers south of Düsseldorf Central Station . It is located on the Cologne – Duisburg railway line and belongs to station category 5. It is located in the east of the Langenfeld-Berghausen district . It is located below Berghausener Strasse.

It has a central platform with two flights of stairs to the overpass of Berghausener Straße.

The Langenfeld-Berghausen stop was opened in 1971/72 on the Cologne – Duisburg railway line in order to also open up the north of Langenfeld and Monheim .

The station is currently served by two S-Bahn lines and three bus lines.
