The 1950 European Basketball Championship (officially: EuroBasket 1950 Women ) was the 2nd edition of the continental competition. It took place in Hungary from May 14th to 20th, 1950 and was organized by FIBA Europe. The games were played in Budapest .

Preliminary round

It was played in three groups. In the event of a tie, the direct comparison counts, followed by the basket difference and the baskets achieved. The two best placed in each group made it to the final round and played for the first six places. The third and fourth placed played for places 7 to 12.
