The 2019 European Basketball Championship for women (officially: Eurobasket Women 2019 ) was the 37th edition of the competition . It took place from June 27th to July 7th, 2019 in Serbia and Latvia and was organized by FIBA Europe .

qualification

The qualifying matches were played between November 11, 2017 and November 21, 2018.

Preliminary round

In the preliminary round four teams play against each other in four groups. The winner of a game receives two points, the loser one point. If a game is tied at the end of the regular playing time, extra time takes place.
