The Egghölzli is an elongated, small, common neighborhood in the statistical district 20 Brunnadern of district IV ( Kirchenfeld-Schosshalde ) south of Thunstrasse. It borders on the Elfenau / Brunnadern , Murifeld and Weltpost districts . In the southeast it forms the city limits to Muri .

In 2019, 757 residents were registered in the quarter, 617 of them Swiss and 140 foreigners.

The residential development in the north consists of nine sloping row houses, south of Egghölzlistrasse there are smaller single and multi-family houses. Gas station, supermarket and a bakery are part of the infrastructure.

The tram lines 6 and 8 connect with the center, the RBS bus line 40 runs tangentially between Kappelisacker and Allmendingen .
