Burgstall Zedtwitz

The Burgstall Zedtwitz , also called Wasserschloss Zedtwitz , describes an abandoned medieval moated castle in the center of Zedtwitz , a district of the municipality Feilitzsch in the district of Hof in Bavaria .

The castle was the ancestral seat of the von Zedtwitz family from the 13th to the 16th century . The castle was preceded as Vorwerke Münchenreuth with 16 estates (1502) and the knight seat in Isaar (1412).

The last remains of the wall of the former castle complex were demolished in 1839.
