The Cupa României in 1943 was the tenth tournament for the Romanian Football Cup and the last before the game had to be stopped due to the Second World War . The winner was CFR Turnu Severin , who won the final against Sportul Studențesc . Defending champion Rapid Bucharest was eliminated in the semi-finals.

Initially, only one game was played. If this was a draw after 90 minutes, an extension of 30 minutes followed. Only when this also ended in a draw was a second leg played to bring about a decision. If the second leg ended in a draw after extra time, home rights were swapped until a winner was determined.
