In the 2005/06 season, the club did not take part in the women's championship, in order to found a women's team in 2006, which immediately became champions of the West Regional League . In the following season 2008/09 the ASV won the championship in the Lower Austrian regional league and made the jump into the second-class 2nd Division East .

With only one defeat in the season Spratzern was also champion here, but failed in the relegation to Union Kleinmünchen . Finally, in 2011, the promotion to the ÖFB women's league succeeded after the ASV prevailed in the relegation against the SC / ESV Parndorf .

As they were promoted to the top Austrian league, the team immediately became runner-up behind SV Neulengbach . In the 2012/13 season it was again only enough for the runner-up. The season ended tied with SV Neulengbach, but ASV had the worse goal difference. In the cup competition Spratzern retaliated with a 7: 6 win on penalties at Neulengbach.

In the UWCL 2013/14 they were eliminated from the competition against the Italian champions ASD Torres Calcio with a total score of 3: 5 (home 2: 2; away 3: 1). The 2013/14 season ended again with the vice state championship title behind Neulengbach. The ÖFB Ladies Cup Cup was brought to St. Pölten for the second time with a 4: 3 final win against NÖSV Neulengbach.

In the 2014/15 season, St. Pölten won the championship title and the cup for the first time. In the UWCL the Italian representative ASD CF Bardolino was drawn. After two very good games, however, the Austrian champions had to admit defeat 4: 5 and 2: 2.

In 2015/16 the championship and the cup victory could be repeated.
