Football Oberliga Baden-Württemberg 1993/94

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The football league Baden-Württemberg 1993/94 was the sixteenth season of the league. After the reintroduction of the regional leagues for the 1994/95 season , it was the last season of the league as the third highest German football class.

To qualify for the newly founded regional league, a three-year multiplication rating was used as a basis in the south, in which the 1991/92 season counted single, the 1992/93 series double and the 1993/94 round triple and the six best teams in the major league Regional league moved in. Since the Stuttgarter Kickers relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the 1993/94 season and champions SSV Ulm 1846 failed in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga at FSV Frankfurt , SSV Reutlingen were finally able to team up with champions SSV Ulm 1846 , the VfR Mannheim , the TSF Ditzingen and the SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg , only five other league teams will participate in the first regional league season.

Due to the increased promotion, only two clubs, SC Pfullendorf and Freiburg FC, had to relegate to the association league.

The top scorer was Marc Arnold from SSV Ulm in 1846 with 24 goals.
