Football Oberliga Baden-Württemberg 1985/86
The football league Baden-Württemberg 1985/86 was the eighth league season.
SSV Ulm became champions in 1846 and qualified for the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . By taking first place in their group, they made it to paid football ( 2nd Bundesliga ) . The Freiburg FC started as runner-up in the amateur championship .
With the rise of SSV Ulm, FV Lauda remained in the top division. FV Biberach , SC Geislingen , FC 08 Villingen and FC Rastatt 04 were relegated to the subordinate association leagues . In turn, increased the following season 1986/87 the SV 98 Schwetzingen , the VfB Gaggenau and VfR Heilbronn on directly in the league, while VfL Kirchheim / Teck had to take a detour via the promotion round.
