György Páros
György Páros (born April 28, 1910 in Tamási , † December 17, 1975 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian grandmaster of chess composition .
Life

György Páros began working as a chess composer at the age of 16. He stated that he was influenced by JR Neukomm, N. Kovacs and Ferenc Fleck . In 1956 he was awarded the highest possible honor for sporting success by the Hungarian state. He was also honored with the title of Eternal Hungarian National Champion . Páros received the grandmaster title in October 1975 in Tbilisi. He has won more than 100 first prizes. Páros won ten times at the first ten Hungarian chess championships in the auxiliary mat category.
Páros helped the auxiliary mat to gain recognition. He described the following piece as his best task:

This auxiliary mat is a so-called twin. The first task is the position in the diagram, the second is created by moving pawn a3 to c2.

Black begins in the auxiliary mate and black's moves are written first.
a) 1. Bc6 – a4 Lc5 – d4
2. Re5 – b5 Nd7 – b6 +
3. Kc4 – b4 Ne7 – c6 mate
b) 1. Re5 – e2 Lc5 – b4
2. Lc6 – e4 Ne7 – f5

Private
Despite having a doctorate in law, Páros worked in banking.
On December 16, 1975, Páros was admitted to hospital because of sudden symptoms of illness, where he died of a thrombosis the following day . He left a wife and a then 25 year old son.
