Jean-Marc Loustau

Jean-Marc Loustau (born September 13, 1958 in Paris ) is a French grand master of chess composition .

Chess composition

Loustau composes two-move, three-move, multi-move, auxiliary mate , self- mate and fairy tale chess problems . Since 2008 he has published endgame studies on the endgame pair of bishops and rooks against rooks . About 600 of his work have been published. In 2004 he was awarded the title of Grand Master for Chess Composition.

The following task shows for the first time a plachutta , i.e. an adjustment of two figures at the same step, in miniature form. A miniature in chess composition is a task with a maximum of seven pieces.
