Mikhail Marandyuk

Michail Nazarowitsch Marandjuk ( Russian Михаил Назарович Марандюк , Ukrainian Михайло Назарович Марандюк Mychajlo Nazarowytsch Marandjuk ; born January 17, 1949 in Novoselytsia ) is a composer in Novoselytsia . He is a mechanic and engineer by profession.

Chess composition

Since 1968 Marandjuk has published over 600 chess problems of all genres. 240 of them received awards, 110 prizes, including 45 first prizes. He was team world champion with the USSR in the 5th WCCT from 1993 to 1997 and is multiple individual champion in Ukraine. He was five-time individual world champion: 1st WCCI (1998-2000) in the departments for three and multi-residents, 2nd WCCI (2001-2003) in the multi-residents department, 3rd WCCI (2004-2006) in the departments for three and multi-residents .

In 2004 Marandjuk became a grandmaster for chess composition .
