Hrvoje Bartolović
Hrvoje Bartolović (also called Vojko Bartolović ) (born June 15, 1932 in Zagreb , Kingdom of Yugoslavia , † November 3, 2005 in Zagreb, Croatia ) was a Yugoslavian grandmaster of chess composition .
Bartolović was the most famous Croatian chess composer after Nenad Petrović . Since the summer of 1948 he has created more than 800 compositions. In 1956 he was appointed International Chess Composition Referee .
In 1965 he became world champion in the composition of two-moves and in 1980 grandmaster in chess composition. A total of 81 of his works appeared in FIDE albums .
