There was an estate at the end of the 18th century. This had the imperial city of Dinkelsbühl as landlord . From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Wassertrüdingen .

In 1809, as a result of the municipal edict, Hungerhof was assigned to the tax district and the municipality of Dinkelsbühl.
