James Anthony Luisi (born November 11, 1928 in New York City , New York - † June 7, 2002 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor who appeared in over 100 film and television productions between 1961 and 2000 the camera was. life and career

James Luisi, born in 1928 in New York City, New York State, after attending St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights and serving in the army during the Korean War, first pursued a career in professional basketball on the basis of a basketball scholarship with the Baltimore Bullets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). There he played only one season from 1953 to 1954. In the late 1950s he began training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts . His acting career first began on stage in Broadway musicals Sweet Charity and Zorba before moving to television in the early 1960s.
