The Kretschmann III cabinet is the state government of Baden-Württemberg .

In his third term as Prime Minister, Winfried Kretschmann is again leading a green-black coalition made up of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen and CDU , which was formed as a result of the state elections in 2021 . Once again, the CDU is the junior partner in the government, known as the “Kiwi” coalition. The Greens emerged stronger from the election, while the CDU - also as a result of the mask scandalat the federal level - suffered severe losses. The coalition agreement is entitled “Now for Tomorrow. The Renewal Agreement for Baden-Württemberg ”and was published on May 5, 2021. On May 12, 2021 - exactly 10 years after Kretschmann's first election as Prime Minister - the new cabinet took office.
